A Paypal business account offers the same features as a personal account. Still, it has a variety of countries than the personal one, and you can legally use the business account in Ghana without any trouble. This is how you can create an account for absolutely free.

• First of all, click this link to open the Paypal website.

• On the page, click the "sign up" button in the top right corner of your screen, and it should redirect you to another page on the website, which should look like this. Next, choose the business account option and then continue.

• On the next page, you might be presented with a capture. Solve the capture, and you can proceed.
• Fill in your email address on the page you see.

• Create a password on the subsequent page. I strongly advise using a random and unique password for greater security.

• This is where the whole thing begins. Since Ghana is blacklisted, you can create personal and business accounts to run your online business. Fill in the information in the question boxes and change the country code from 256 to 233. Enter 00233 as the postal code. Make sure you agree to the terms and conditions by checking the box.

• Choose "Individual/sole proprietor" as the business type and "business services" as the product or service keywords. Leave the website aspect blank.

• Fill in your Date Of Birth and change your country from LESOTHO to Ghana. I advise using your National ID, your Ghana Card to complete the signup process. To my knowledge, they don't verify the documents, but you should provide the correct info. When you have an issue with your account, they will ask you to provide those documents. When entering your Ghana Card details, add the GHA and include all the hyphens.

• After following all the steps, you should have a Paypal account, and your dashboard is like this.

• Scroll down the page and head over to the notifications section. Look for the link and confirm my debit or credit card and click on it. Add your details. You will be deducted an amount that will be refunded to you. Therefore you should have at least a balance of about GHC 50.00 to start. Next, go to your email inbox and confirm your email address.
• At some unfortunate times, you might receive a message that you need to provide more info. When this happens, click on the alert and give them a photo of your Ghana card or any ID you used when registering.

• When you submit the document, they will review it and lift any limitations they have put on your account.
